DJ WAV requests

When a DJ needs a broadcast WAV for airplay, Radio Now sends you a clear request email. Here is what it means and how to reply.

What is this?

DJs browse and download MP3 turn-key promo folders from Radio Now. Some stations still need a broadcast WAV for their automation system. When a DJ clicks Send WAV request for me, we email you on their behalf with the song details and the DJ’s contact info.

What the email looks like

Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a message like this:

How to reply (3 steps)

  1. Hit Reply on the request email. Your reply goes straight to the DJ’s email address listed in the message.
  2. Attach the WAV or send a secure download link (WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
  3. Name the file so it is easy to match — for example: Song Title - Artist Name.wav

That is it. No login required to reply — just use your normal email app (Zoho, Gmail, Outlook, etc.).

Quick answers

Is this spam?
No — it is a real DJ on Radio Now who downloaded your MP3 promo and needs WAV for their station.
Do I have to send a WAV?
WAV is optional but appreciated for airplay. MP3 promos on Radio Now are the main turn-key package.
Who sends the first email?
Radio Now sends it from radio@the615hideaway.com so the DJ does not have to write it themselves.
What about WAV for new releases?
After you rename your broadcast WAV to match your Radio Now turn-key folder (same naming as your MP3 promo), keep a copy handy. Reply with that file when a DJ on Radio Now requests it. You can also use the same turn-key folder — with WAV included — when you send promos to DJs who are not on Radio Now yet.
